Let the light and views lead
Open every shade, clean the glass, and arrange furniture so the eye is pulled straight to the mountains. Those walls of windows and golden-hour views are the reason buyers fall in love — don’t block them with big furniture or heavy drapes.
Lean into the architecture
Vigas, latillas, nichos, and kiva fireplaces are features buyers pay for. Keep them uncluttered and let them be the star of each room. A simple bowl on the bancos or a single piece of pottery in a nicho says “authentic” far better than a crowded shelf.
Declutter and neutralize — but keep the soul
Pare back personal items so buyers can picture themselves there, but don’t strip the warmth. A few earthy textiles, warm-white bulbs, and clean Saltillo floors keep that Southwest feeling while reading fresh and move-in ready.
Curb appeal, high-desert style
Tidy xeriscaping, a swept portal, a pop of color at the entry, and healthy native plants tell buyers the home’s been loved. First impressions start at the driveway.
Photos make or break it
Most buyers meet your home online first. Professional photography — shot in great light, capturing the views — is what turns scrolls into showings. It’s the highest-return thing you can do, and it’s part of how I list every home.
